Indian Deep Tissue Detox and Reflexology (Copy)

In each of my sessions I mix my technique to respond to what the client needs that day.  You can say each massage is customized.  Many of my clients request deeper, slow work that brings emotional and physical relaxation.

Over the holiday I traveled to India for a month to have fun, and to study a new technique.  I was an amazing trip for adventure and learning.

I completed a two week intensive course in Ayurvedic Massage (deep tissue detox and foot reflexology) taught by Dr. Rekha, MD Ayurveda. The technique, called Abhyanga, is used to treat metabolic disease (not neuro-muscular pain).

This massage is part of the cleansing protocols of Ayurveda. Ayurvedic medicine is the traditional, natural medicine in India, with over 2000 years of development.

The ancient technique is fast and vigorous, covering the entire body in an hour.  It uses special oils for your dosha, and is followed by a steam or infrared heat sweating session. Blood and lymph circulation are elevated.

This a great choice to elevate circulation and when you are embracing other changes (diet, exercise, ect. to cleanse).  I am happy to speak with you about if it is right and how to maximize it's effectiveness.

As a traditional medicine therapy there many 'claimed' benefits.  Some may be a strech, but it certainly feels amazing and gets your tissue, lymph and blood warmed up.  The reported benefits include:

• Produces softness, strength and color to the body • Decreases the effects of aging • Bestows good vision • Nourishes the body • Increases longevity • Benefits sleep patterns • Benefits skin • Strengthens the body's tolerance • Imparts a firmness to the limbs • Imparts tone and vigor to the dhatus (tissues) of the body • Stimulates the internal organs of the body, including circulation • Pacifies Vata and Pitta and harmonizes Kapha

For the first few months of 2016 I would like to offer this specialized technique at $45 for a full 60 minutes.

Breath deep & Hug more often,

Jesse in Ensenada

I moved to Ensenada 15 years ago in 2011 in search of a simpler, healthier life after burnout, heartbreak, and cancer—and ended up building a life and business here that I truly love.

I started Ensenada Massage to create a space for relaxation and wellness, which later expanded into Valle Mobile Spa, serving travelers across Valle de Guadalupe and the Baja coast.

After experiencing cruise travel firsthand, I saw how limited and crowded shore excursions could be. That led to the creation of Ensenada Excursions & Tours, focused on private, flexible experiences and reliable transportation—so guests can enjoy Ensenada safely, comfortably, and on their own terms.

Today, our team also provides private transportation throughout Baja, including pickups from San Diego and Tijuana through Baja Tours & Transport, helping travelers explore the region with ease.

I split my time between Ensenada and San Diego, usually near the ocean, and still spend as much time as I can exploring Baja by road.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me swimming, playing harmonica, attempting capoeira, or listening to audiobooks on health, mindset, and personal growth.

If you have questions about Ensenada, your cruise stop, or planning the perfect day here—feel free to reach out.
