To offer service and protect our community, we have made substantial changes in procedures, and investments in training, and investment in equipment.

You may notice these changes as we adjust to a new normal. You will still receive our exceptional service and high-quality massage and facial services. These procedures prioritize community health and the comfort of service.

These are formed from science-based U.S. CDC recommendations, workshops, and textbooks on preventing disease transmission in massage therapy. Our team has invested in over 40 changes and $3,000 to make the needed changes for our times. Our training includes a week-long conference.

As better information becomes available, we are updating these procedures.

Among the procedures and changes include:

Distancing

  • Online intake form to limit conversational intake time

  • Therapist's mouth covering for client greeting and massage.

  • Face masks available to clients. Eye covering available to team (clear goggles)

  • No cross-over time between guests. Appointments are timed to allow for air circulation, cleaning, and less contact between clients and staff

Contact surfaces

  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces between each appointment.

  • Disinfect the entire building daily

  • Fresh linens and towels for each client.

  • Shoe wipe upon entrance

  • Hand washing 30 seconds between appointments

  • Alcohol 85% gel upon entrance

Spa Team health monitor

  • Therapist temperature checks each day

  • Therapist's mouth covering for client greeting and massage.

  • Therapist household symptoms were reported.

  • Cancellation allowed for any symptoms by clients with no loss of deposit


Air Quality and Circulation

  • Air filter high-quality HEPA air filter

  • Window ventilation before and after the massage, and during upon request

  • Fresh air circulation during massage

  • Antiviral essential oils used for aromatherapy 

Services

  • Facial massage eliminated from default full body massage and is available upon request  

  • Mobile massage available via Valle Mobile Spa team.

After a Carnival cruise and recognizing a need for more intimate, traveler-centric experiences, I launched Ensenada Excursions & Tours. I saw the limitations of crowded, cookie-cutter shore excursions and built a team that prioritizes customization, safety, and local insight—so you can experience Ensenada on your own terms.

Today, through Baja Tours & Transport, we bridge the safety and logistical gap between San Diego and Valle de Guadalupe, ensuring your journey is as seamless and flexible.

I live in Ensenada and visit San Diego often for family elder car, but my heart is permanently on the road. Whether I’m scouting a new path through the Valle de Guadalupe, practicing capoeira, or diving into the latest research on longevity, I am constantly learning to create my own family peace and have enough energy to adventure in Baja and down to Baja Sur, so I can share with visitors.

I try to be more than just a business owner; I’m your local resource for Safety guides, port guides and hidden taco spots to the perfect itinerary.
